Who says you can't teach an "old dog new tricks". My passion for value, thinking both outside and inside the box, to remain current with the challenges the entire packaging industry faces, I felt compelled to go back to school after nearly 40 years. My favorite topic was human factors research and the impact on enhancing consumer experiences and preferences
Early on in my packaging career I realized the corrugated packaging industry was much more than commodity brown boxes. My MBA focus on marketing provided a framework establishing value through product pack differentiation. Adding marketing value to a box through upscale graphics, grabbing a shoppers attention created opportunities transitioning the packaging into a vital sales vehicle.
My college experience taught me effective time management balancing a full time academic schedule, working 30+ hours a week, being an active member in Beta Theta Pi fraternity, playing Rugby and intramural sports as well as having a lot of fun.

Geez, 40 + years in the same industry. I must not only be crazy but also, due to my passion, quite knowledgeable about numerous facets of the corrugated packaging industry. First job out of college, I became a very successful sales rep for PCA.  I was blessed with a mentor who taught me that it was much better to be a creative problem solver than a quote and hope sales person. I embraced learning and selling all specialty products while introducing them to the use of film laminated litho labeling for the educational publishing business

Creator of two E-Z Pack™ club store PDQ patents
My entrepreneurial spirit led to establishing HHF Enterprises, Inc. As an ethical value added, innovation packaging broker, I learned how to maximize my vendor base, challenging manufacturers to push the envelope of their machine capabilities. The result was providing customers with cutting edge, low total cost educational publishing marketing kits, POP packages and displays.
Co-ordinated turnkey projects from design concept, manufacturing and assembly using a variety of mixed mediums.
This approach also provided value for industrial packaging clients.
As the owner of E-Z Pack™,
I created two utility patented club store packages while the club store business was just starting to grow.
Gained proficiency in Artios CAD, purchased and operated a cutting table.

Weber Display & Packaging has provided many opportunities to foster my creativity by investing resources to prove out the many benefits of the various E-Z Set™ designs. I have been like a kid in a candy store utilizing, challenging, and improving the capabilities and confidence of machine operators, supervisors, and management.
Educating the design team on the numerous benefits and design nuances has expanded their arsenal of options creating designs that meet the challenges presented.
I have assisted tailoring E-Z Set™ application for many of the sales team, enhancing their position in exiting customers and creating opportunities for new business.
